China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. is a joint stock company founded by initiation. Led by China Three Gorges Corporation as the principal sponsor, it was jointly established together with five other promoters, namely Huaneng Power International, Inc., China National Nuclear Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Gezhouba Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and the Changjiang Survey, Planning, Design and Research Institute under the Changjiang Water Resources Commission.

      Equipment & Cooperation

As China’s largest listed hydropower enterprise, the company is mainly engaged in hydropower generation. Entrusted by China Three Gorges Corporation, it centrally manages the completed power generation assets of the Three Gorges Project that have not yet been incorporated into the company.Its generated power is mainly supplied to Central China (Hubei, Henan, Jiangxi, Chongqing), East China (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui) and Guangdong Province.
